Martin Schleicher
Martin Schleicher serves as a Marketing fulltime professor at IAE Business School, where he works since 2000. He is the Academic Director of the “Doing Business in Latin America” Programs at IAE for Schools like London Business School, Darden, and Emory, among others and Academic Director of the “Advanced Management Program” for Senior Executives.
Martin Schleicher holds an M.Phil. degree and is a Ph.D. Candidate in Marketing at Columbia University, New York. His main research interest is to examine the influence of social networks on consumer choice and adoption of new products. He also works on some projects related to brand extension and the effect of social media. Currently he has developed a special interest for innovation, and the tools and systems that enhance the creative process when developing new products, services or ideas.
He also holds an MBA degree from IAE Business School and an Actuary Degree from Universidad de Buenos Aires, Argentina. Martin Schleicher is a visiting professor at Columbia University, where he co-teaches the “Strategic Marketing in the Modern Corporation” elective course for Executive MBAs. He has been invited to teach at IDE Business School in Guayaquil and Quito, Ecuador, at INALDE Business School in Bogota, Colombia, at ESE Business School, Chile, at Adolfo Ibañez Business School, Lima, Peru and at IEEM, Montevideo, Uruguay.
Before joining IAE, Martin Schleicher worked at Roland Berger & Partners, where he participated in many consulting projects with leading domestic companies, such as Banco Frances, Volkswagen Argentina, and others.
